  • Coach managers, superintendents, and foremen on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary matters.
  • Build relationships with English- and Spanish-speaking employees through regular jobsite visits and conversations.
  • Provide objective guidance on workplace policies, employment practices, and employee concerns.
  • Support employee counseling, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and separation processes.
  • Partner with corporate HR on sensitive or complex matters requiring additional guidance.
  • Assist with employee performance reviews, training, onboarding, and orientation.
  • Help employees understand benefits and support open enrollment communications.
  • Conduct exit interviews and identify opportunities to improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and support consistent HR practices across project locations.
  • Help create an environment where employees feel comfortable raising concerns and supervisors have the tools to address them appropriately.

Must-Haves as the Bilingual Employee Relations Specialist:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of Employee Relations or related Human Resources experience.
  • Professional fluency in English and Spanish, including the ability to conduct sensitive employee conversations in both languages.
  • Hands-on experience investigating workplace complaints and resolving employee conflicts.
  • Experience coaching supervisors or managers through employee relations, performance, or disciplinary situations.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, and workplace compliance.
  • Ability to independently assess employee concerns, document findings, and recommend appropriate next steps.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Comfortable working onsite at active construction projects in Palmetto and Fayetteville, GA.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, and related workplace technology.

Nice-to-Haves as the Bilingual Employee Relations Specialist:

  • HR or Employee Relations experience within construction, manufacturing, engineering, logistics, utilities, or industrial operations.
  • Experience supporting hourly, skilled-trade, or other frontline employee populations.
  • Experience independently leading workplace investigations.
  • Background advising managers on progressive discipline, corrective actions, and employee separations.
  • Experience supporting multiple jobsites or geographically dispersed teams.
  • Experience working closely with operational leaders in fast-paced environments.
  • Exposure to employee engagement, retention initiatives, and workforce training.

Our Client Offers:

  • Base salary of $70,480-$88,100 annually.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Life and disability insurance.
  • Paid time off.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Tuition reimbursement.
  • Paid maternity leave.
  • Military Reserve pay offset.
  • Opportunity to support complex, high-profile construction and infrastructure projects.
  • Direct interaction with field employees, project leaders, and corporate HR.
  • A highly visible position where your work can meaningfully influence employee experience and workplace culture.
  • Professional growth opportunities within a large, established organization.
