About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Bilingual Executive Assistant / General Manager’s Assistant to work closely with senior management in our Austin office.

This position is especially suited for students or recent graduates who are native or near-native English speakers and have studied Mandarin Chinese as a second language . We welcome candidates who are interested in applying their Chinese-language skills in a real international business environment.

Our businesses operate across the United States and Asia, with activities spanning agricultural technology, artificial intelligence, international trade, investment, data analysis, and emerging technologies .

This is not a traditional administrative assistant position. The successful candidate will have opportunities to participate directly in management discussions, research, international projects, business development, and cross-cultural communication.

Key Responsibilities

The General Manager’s Assistant will support senior management in areas including:

• Assist the General Manager with daily business activities, meetings, scheduling, and follow-up.
• Participate in meetings and prepare concise meeting notes, summaries, and action items.
• Support communication between English-speaking and Chinese-speaking team members.
• Assist with English–Chinese communication and translation when needed.
• Conduct business, industry, technology, and market research.
• Prepare presentations, reports, business correspondence, and project materials.
• Track key projects and follow up with team members on deadlines and deliverables.
• Support communication with universities, technology companies, business partners, and other external organizations.
• Participate in projects involving agricultural technology, AI, international trade, investment, and technology commercialization.
• Assist senior management with special projects and strategic research.

Preferred Qualifications

We are particularly interested in candidates who:

• Are currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a U.S. university.
• Have native or near-native English proficiency .
• Have studied Mandarin Chinese for two or more years , or possess equivalent Chinese-language ability.
• Can communicate comfortably in conversational Mandarin; professional proficiency is a strong plus.
• Have strong English writing, research, and communication skills.
• Are intellectually curious and comfortable learning about unfamiliar industries and technologies.
• Are organized, responsible, proactive, and able to work directly with senior executives.
• Are interested in international business and cross-cultural collaboration.

Chinese Language

Mandarin proficiency is an important advantage for this position.

Candidates are not expected to have perfect Chinese . The ability and willingness to communicate, learn, and work in a bilingual environment are more important.
