Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and compassionate Bilingual Home Care Assistants (HCAs) to join our team! In this vital role, you will deliver personalized care to seniors and individuals with disabilities, supporting their daily needs and enhancing their quality of life. Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential to effectively communicate with diverse residents and their families. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve.

Duties

• Provide direct support with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility assistance
• Monitor residents’ health by observing vital signs, medication administration, and overall well-being
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and maintaining proper nutrition for residents
• Support residents with memory care needs such as Alzheimer’s and dementia care using specialized techniques
• Help with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident areas and maintaining a safe environment
• Use patient transfer methods like Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques to ensure safe mobility
• Document care plans, patient observations, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams about resident status

Requirements

• Hoyer lift experience need - and Spanish Speaker
• Knowledge of patient observation, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and HIPAA regulations
• Experience with dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, or neurodevelopmental disorders is a plus
• Ability to assist with ADLs and perform manual handling or heavy lifting safely
• Certification in CPR and first aid is required or must be obtained upon hire
• Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish; cultural sensitivity is essential
• Valid driver’s license for personal transportation assistance if needed
• Demonstrated commitment to resident rights, patient safety, and compassionate caregiving

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
