Job Summary

Personal Pitstop Express is looking for a highly enthusiastic, competitive, and sales-driven Pay Station Closer.

This customer-facing position is responsible for welcoming customers, explaining our wash options, and converting retail customers into monthly members. You must be comfortable starting conversations, making recommendations, responding to objections, and asking customers to join.\

Base pay plus up to $500 in monthly sales commissions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working toward measurable goals and wants the opportunity to become one of the top performers on our sales team.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement

● Welcome every customer with eye contact, a warm smile, and an enthusiastic greeting.

● Create a friendly, positive, and inviting first impression.

● Speak with customers to understand their needs and driving habits.

● Introduce the available wash packages and explain the differences between them.

● Recommend the wash or membership option that provides the most value for the customer.

● Answer questions clearly, accurately, and confidently.

Membership Sales

● Present monthly membership options to retail customers.

● Ask customers to join the membership program.

● Promote premium memberships, annual passes, upgrades, and other offers.

● Explain the financial and service benefits of becoming a member.

● Respond professionally to questions, hesitation, and sales objections.

● Follow the established Personal Pitstop Express sales process.

PERSONAL PITSTOP EXPRESS | PAY STATION CLOSER

● Work consistently toward daily and monthly membership goals.

● Maintain a membership close rate of at least 35%.

Product Knowledge

● Learn every Personal Pitstop Express wash package.

● Clearly explain the chemicals, services, and protections included in each package.

● Understand the purpose and customer benefit of services such as tire shine, hot wax, ceramic protection, graphene protection, undercarriage cleaning, and other available features.

● Stay informed about current promotions, membership policies, and upgrade opportunities.

General Responsibilities

● Assist customers with pay station questions or transaction issues.

● Communicate customer concerns to the appropriate team member.

● Maintain a clean and organized pay station area.

● Assist with other facility responsibilities when customer volume requires it.

● Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures.

Qualifications

● Highly enthusiastic, outgoing, and sales-driven.

● Bilingual in English and Spanish.

● Strong verbal communication skills.

● Comfortable approaching customers and initiating a sale.

● Able to accept coaching and apply feedback.

● Able to learn and retain detailed product information.

● Hospitality, retail sales, membership sales, or customer service experience preferred.

● Able to work with a strong sense of urgency.

● Available to work flexible hours, including weekends.

● Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

● Reliable transportation is required.

● Able to stand for extended periods and perform moderate physical activity.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
