Bilingual Sign Language Interpreter

We are seeking a professional, skilled, and compassionate Sign Language Interpreter to facilitate effective communication between Deaf or hard of hearing individuals and hearing individuals.

Responsibilities

Provide accurate and professional sign language interpretation.

Interpret conversations, meetings, appointments, training sessions, and other communications as needed.

Convey the meaning, tone, and intent of spoken and signed communication accurately.

Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and impartiality at all times.

Support effective communication in a variety of professional and community settings.

Follow applicable professional standards and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and English.

Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to interpret accurately and maintain confidentiality.

Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented.

Prior interpreting experience is preferred.

Relevant certification or credentials are preferred or required, depending on the assignment.

Pay: $35.67 - $40.57 per hour
