Position Overview

APsystems North America is seeking a full-time, Bilingual Spanish Technical Support Specialist based in the United States. This position will be moving to in-person work eventually.

This position provides phone and email support to solar installers, distributors, and homeowners across the United States and Canada. The ideal candidate has professional experience working with PV systems and components, along with strong customer service experience in a call-center or technical support environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for APsystems PV and energy storage products by phone, email, and remote support channels.
• Troubleshoot PV, storage, electrical, communications, monitoring, and installation-related issues.
• Support installers with commissioning, system setup, configuration, and monitoring.
• Review system data, electrical readings, photos, and documentation to identify root causes.
• Document customer interactions and troubleshooting steps accurately within the case management system.
• Coordinate warranty and RMA processes when appropriate.
• Escalate complex technical issues to internal engineering or product teams when necessary.
• Provide professional technical support in both English and Spanish.
• Participate in in-office work, training, and meetings as needed.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience working with photovoltaic (PV) solar systems.
• 2+ years of professional experience working with residential solar energy storage/battery systems.
• Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish.
• Must reside in Utah and be available for occasional in-office work as needed.
• Strong understanding of residential electrical systems and solar troubleshooting.
• Experience diagnosing technical issues using system data, electrical measurements, photos, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Strong communication, documentation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with CRM, ticketing, case management, or technical support platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience providing technical support for microinverter-based PV systems in a high-volume customer or technical support environment.
• Experience providing phone-based technical support to solar installers, distributors, and other industry professionals.
• Experience remotely troubleshooting solar PV and storage systems.

Interview Process

Candidates may be asked to complete a brief technical assessment before the interview process begins to help evaluate practical PV and energy storage troubleshooting knowledge.

Work Environment

• Full-time, remote position based in the United States
• Support is primarily provided through phone, email, CRM, and remote monitoring tools
• Regular computer use and extended periods of phone-based customer interaction are required
