Srim Academy is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dependable Bilingual Substitute Teacher to join our team and become part of our Language Immersion Program.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and is passionate about introducing them to a second language in a natural, engaging, and meaningful way.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support and after care support as a substitute teacher in our Toddler (13 months–3 years) and Primary (3–6 years) Montessori classrooms and in aftercare.
• Speak to the children in your native language throughout the day, incorporating everyday vocabulary, songs, stories, conversations, and classroom routines.
• Foster a positive, nurturing, and respectful learning environment.
• Collaborate with lead teachers to support daily classroom activities and maintain consistency.
• Help children develop an appreciation and love for a new language through play, music, movement, and meaningful interactions.
• Maintain a safe, caring, and engaging classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent in a different language than English (native speakers are encouraged to apply).
• Experience working with young children is preferred.
• Montessori experience is a plus but not required.
• Warm, patient, energetic, and reliable.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully complete all required background checks.
