Bilingual Warehouse Lead

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Bilingual Warehouse Lead for our Houston warehouse. This is a hands-on working lead position. The Warehouse Lead will coordinate daily warehouse activities while actively working alongside the team whenever operational needs require additional support.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, able to lead a team, and able to plan ahead based on daily shipping and receiving schedules.

Bilingual English/Spanish is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate daily activities of warehouse employees.
• Assign daily tasks and follow up to ensure priorities are completed.
• Review daily shipping/receiving logs and prepare for upcoming inbound and outbound trucks.
• Review the next day’s scheduled trucks and ensure orders, products, and pallets are staged and ready in advance.
• Coordinate and assist with loading and unloading inbound and outbound trucks.
• Assist with unloading containers when operational needs require additional support.
• Support LTL and FTL shipping operations.
• Oversee pallet preparation, staging, labeling, and warehouse organization.
• Assist with processing returned merchandise, including sorting product by condition.
• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with resolving inventory discrepancies.
• Track daily warehouse production and completed work.
• Communicate operational issues, damages, inventory concerns, or delays to the Facility Manager.
• Train and support warehouse employees.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Perform hands-on warehouse work alongside the team as operational needs require.

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse experience required; 3+ years preferred.
• Previous Warehouse Lead, Supervisor, or Team Lead experience required ;1+ year preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Forklift experience required; certification preferred.
• Computer skills required, including the ability to review warehouse logs, schedules, and basic electronic records.
• Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory, staging, and warehouse operations.
• LTL/FTL freight experience preferred.
• Ability to plan ahead and prepare the warehouse for the following day’s workload.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability and willingness to perform hands-on warehouse work as needed.

Important: This is not a desk-only supervisory position. The Warehouse Lead is expected to lead the team while also stepping in and working alongside warehouse employees whenever operational needs require additional support.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
