Billing Accountant

We are looking for a motivated Billing Accountant to join our client’s team, a fast-growing international financial services company. If you have 3+ years of experience in billing in a multinational environment and enjoy working in dynamic, fast-paced environments, send your application!

Main responsibilities:

• Generate and issue customer invoices (T&M and Contracts), ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain customer account information and support finance administration, reporting, and data management activities.
• Act as the escalation point for complex customer billing inquiries and resolve billing-related issues.
• Manage and maintain invoicing records and prepare regular billing and financial reports.
• Support Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including account reconciliations.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting, cash pooling activities, intercompany settlements, and netting processes.
• Support KYC requirements and ensure compliance with internal controls and SLAs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve financial and operational issues and support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and promote best practices across finance operations.
• Provide guidance on contractual and financial terms and their impact on business profitability.

Required skills:

• Higher education degree.
• 2–4 years of experience in billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role.
• Good understanding of billing processes, including invoice creation, corrections, and credit notes.
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics (D365/Navision), or similar.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial data and invoices.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly when investigating billing discrepancies.
• Effective communication skills for working with customers, field teams, finance, and other internal stakeholders.
• Fluent English skills, with additional languages considered an advantage
