Billing Analyst

Description Remote

Our client seeks a billing analyst to execute B2B billing operations for retailer partners. The role includes invoice calculation, generation, and delivery using established Oracle and spreadsheet templates. The analyst processes credit and debit memos per approved requests, reviews commercial contracts and SOPs to apply correct billing terms and rates, performs peer reviews and reconciliations to ensure invoice accuracy and completeness, responds to billing inquiries, and routes complex disputes to senior team members. The role follows defined controls and checklists to support month-end close and audit requests. The environment includes Salesforce CRM, JIRA ticketing, Mode BI Reporting, and Oracle Fusion. The industry context is B2B ecommerce and SaaS. The analyst must operate comfortably in a remote setting and collaborate with diverse, global stakeholders, including BPO partners.

Responsibilities

• Execute invoice calculation, generation, and delivery using Oracle and spreadsheet templates.
• Process credit and debit memos in alignment with approved requests.
• Review commercial contracts and SOPs to apply accurate billing terms and rates.
• Perform peer reviews and reconciliations to validate invoice accuracy and completeness.
• Respond to billing inquiries and route complex disputes to senior team members.
• Follow defined controls and checklists to support month-end close and audit requests.

Experience Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion for billing or finance operations.
• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and JIRA ticketing workflows.
• Ability to interpret contracts and SOPs to determine billing terms and rates.
• Intermediate skills with Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel, including templates and reconciliations.
• Familiarity with Mode BI Reporting or similar analytics tools.
• Experience in B2B ecommerce or SaaS billing environments.
• Effectiveness in remote work with diverse, global stakeholders, including BPO partners.
