Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and process medical billing for multiple offices and healthcare providers
• Ensure accurate coding and submission of claims to insurance companies and patients
• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims to facilitate timely reimbursements
• Maintain and update patient billing records within the system
• Perform light housekeeping duties related to billing documentation and records
• Engage with the community as part of our outreach and involvement initiatives
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to resolve billing issues

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in medical office billing (required)
• Certified Billing certification preferred
• Familiarity with Athena EHR system is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of medical coding, insurance procedures, and billing regulations
