Billing and Collections

JOB TITLE: Billing and Collections (3 months - Project Based)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and send accurate invoices and statements on schedule

• Follow up with customers on past-due balances by phone, email, and written notice
• Negotiate payment arrangements within company policy
• Apply payments and reconcile accounts receivable records
• Resolve billing disputes and discrepancies quickly and professionally
• Monitor aging reports and prepare regular collections and delinquency reports
• Escalate delinquent accounts when necessary and recommend write-offs
• Keep clear records of all customer communications and collection activity
• Ensure compliance with company policy and applicable collection laws

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Atleast 1 year of experience in billing, collections, or accounts receivable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting/ERP software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite)
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to stay calm and professional in difficult conversations
• Strong organization and time-management skills
• Integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
