Billing & Quality Engineer – Electrical

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Billing & Quality Control Engineer to manage electrical project billing activities and ensure quality compliance at site. The candidate will be responsible for accurate billing, quantity verification, documentation, site inspections, and coordination with project teams, consultants, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Billing:

• Prepare and verify RA Bills, Running Bills, and Final Bills for electrical projects.
• Check quantities as per BOQ, work orders, approved drawings, and site measurements.
• Prepare measurement sheets and maintain proper billing documentation.
• Verify contractor/subcontractor bills along with supporting documents.
• Track submitted, certified, approved, and outstanding bills project-wise.
• Prepare variation statements, extra-item bills, and reconciliation statements.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, clients, and consultants for billing approvals.
• Ensure bills are accurate and submitted within project timelines.

Quality Control – Electrical:

• Inspect electrical installation work at site as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and applicable standards.
• Check the quality of electrical materials received at site against approved specifications.
• Conduct inspections for cable laying, cable termination, panels, conduits, earthing, lighting, power systems, and other electrical installations.
• Identify quality issues and coordinate with site teams for corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection reports, checklists, test reports, and quality records.
• Coordinate with consultants and client representatives for inspections and approvals.
• Ensure electrical work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in electrical project billing and quality control will be preferred.
• Good knowledge of BOQ, measurements, electrical drawings, billing procedures, and site quality inspections.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with site teams, contractors, consultants, and clients.
• Good documentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel or work at project sites as required.
