Billing Assistant

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive complete shipment files from Customer Service Representatives
• Receive and verify liquidation documents from Broker/Customs Representative
• Check completeness of invoices, collection receipts, and supporting documents attached to billing vouchers
• Ensure all billing documents are properly organized before processing
• Verify validity of approved customer quotations prior billing preparation
• Coordinate with Sales & Marketing Department for updated quotations if expired or invalid
• Ensure all quoted charges and reimbursable charges are properly identified to avoid discrepancies
• Prepare accurate proforma billing documents
• Ensure timely preparation of billing in both excel and cargowise system
• Encoding of completed proforma billing into the Import Monitoring Summary System
• Endorse completed proforma billing to Accounting Department with complete supporting documents

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, or related field
• Atleast 1-3 years of experience in billing, logistics documentation, or freight forwarding
• Experience in Cargowise system is an advantage
