Job Summary

Role/Specialization: Billing Quantity Surveyor (MEP)

Objective

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quantity surveying and billing within the real estate sector, with a focus on all aspects of a property.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Billing Knowledge: Expertise in billing for Civil, Finishing, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) items.

• Contractual Understanding: Good knowledge and understanding of contractual terms and conditions, billing principles, and regulatory requirements.

• Rate Analysis: Prepare rate analysis for extra items/claims.

• Deviation Statements and Cash Flows: Prepare deviation statements and project cash flows.

• Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive records of work completed at the site.

• Monthly Billing: Prepare and certify monthly bills.

• Issue Resolution: Record and address delays and hindrances caused by clients or weather conditions.

• Data Handling: Capable of handling, compiling data, and preparing reports/MIS.

• Bill Accuracy: Check the accuracy of bills received and identify any shortcomings or missing items.

  Qualifications and Skill-sets

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Good knowledge in client and subcontractor billing and quantity surveying.

• Proven, robust work experience of 7 9 years with reputed firms, preferred 4 years in luxury projects.

• Strong analytical and stakeholder and project management ability.

• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

• Express high degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people: contractors, architects, vendors, interior designers, etc.

• Reliable, focused, confident, articulate and self-directed with a high level of initiative and a can do attitude .
