Billing Engineer – Civil

To manage and coordinate project billing activities from the Head Office, ensuring timely preparation, verification and submission of client bills, reconciliation of quantities and coordination with project sites for accurate billing and revenue realization.

• Prepare, review and compile Running Account (RA) Bills, interim bills and final bills for civil construction projects.
• Verify executed quantities against approved BOQs, drawings, specifications and contractual terms.
• Ensure accurate measurement calculations and preparation of billing abstracts and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with site engineers for measurement sheets, joint measurements, work completion records and other billing requirements.
• Ensure timely submission of bills to clients as per contractual billing schedules.
• Understand BOQs and billing items related to sewer lines, manholes, excavation, pipe laying, backfilling, RCC structures and STP civil works, as applicable.
• Verify quantities and supporting documents against approved drawings and contractual provisions.
• Coordinate with project teams to resolve discrepancies in measurements and billing documentation.
• Track submitted bills, certified amounts, deductions, recoveries and outstanding payments.
• Assist in resolving client queries and discrepancies to facilitate timely bill certification.
• Maintain a record of submitted, certified, rejected and pending bills.

Eligibility Criteria

• B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in civil project billing.
• Experience in Sewerage, STP, wastewater treatment or water infrastructure projects will be preferred.
• Candidates with experience in Head Office billing, multi-project billing coordination and client bill certification will be preferred.

Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
