Billing Engineer (Civil)

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify contractor and subcontractor bills.
• Check bills against work orders, BOQs, measurements, and agreed rates.
• Verify purchase bills, material deliveries, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with site engineers, purchase, and accounts teams for billing-related matters.
• Maintain accurate billing records, statements, and reports.
• Identify and highlight billing errors, discrepancies, and mismatches.
• Track bill submissions, approvals, and payment status.
• Assist in reconciliation of contractor, purchase, and material-related bills.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required billing documents and records.
• Prepare basic billing reports and MIS as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–4 years of experience in billing, quantity surveying, or site engineering.
• Good understanding of BOQ, work orders, measurements, and construction billing processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Ability to verify quantities, rates, and billing calculations accurately.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple teams.
• Experience in construction/contracting projects will be preferred.
