Billing Engineer

Jhamtani is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Engineer to manage project billing, quantity measurement, contractor bills, and cost documentation. The candidate will coordinate with project, execution, purchase, and accounts teams to ensure accurate and timely billing.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify RA Bills, client bills, subcontractor bills, and final bills.
• Prepare detailed BOQ, quantity measurements, rate analysis, and billing statements.
• Take and verify measurements as per drawings, BOQ, and actual site execution.
• Check contractor and subcontractor bills for accuracy and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with site engineers and project teams for measurement verification.
• Monitor project quantities, variations, extra items, and deviations.
• Prepare Material Reconciliation Statements and maintain proper billing records.
• Assist in preparing work orders, rate comparisons, and cost estimates.
• Track project costs and support the team in maintaining budget control.
• Coordinate with the Accounts team for invoice processing and payment certification.
• Maintain proper documentation of bills, measurements, approvals, and revisions.
• Ensure billing is completed accurately and within project timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Diploma degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in billing, quantity surveying, or construction projects.
• Experience in real estate/residential construction will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ, rate analysis, quantity estimation, and measurements.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of billing software/ERP systems will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and coordination skills.
