Billing Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify RA Bills, Final Bills, Measurement Sheets and BOQs.
• Verify contractor bills against approved drawings, BOQ, work orders and actual site measurements.
• Conduct joint measurements with contractors and site engineers.
• Prepare quantity estimates and reconciliation of completed works and materials.
• Verify rates, quantities, deductions, variations and extra items in contractor bills.
• Maintain records of measurements, bills, abstracts and payment certificates.
• Coordinate with Project, Civil, Purchase, Accounts and contractor teams for billing-related matters.
• Identify discrepancies in contractor bills and ensure timely correction.
• Monitor work progress against billed quantities and highlight variations.
• Prepare rate analysis, variation statements and cost estimates.
• Support the Project Manager in cost control and budget monitoring.
• Ensure proper documentation and timely submission of project bills.
• Review and certify contractor bills as per project requirements and contractual terms.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of RA Billing, BOQ, Quantity Surveying and Rate Analysis.
• Good understanding of civil construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and billing-related software.
• Strong analytical, numerical and documentation skills.
• Good coordination and negotiation skills with contractors.
• Knowledge of construction measurement and billing practices.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in civil construction billing.
• Candidates with experience in large building, hospital, university or institutional projects will be preferred.
• Experience in handling contractor billing from measurement to final bill will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹55,000.00 per month
