Key Responsibilities Billing & Tendering Engineer
- Study architectural, interior, and civil drawings; prepare quantity take-offs and BOQs.
- Handle measurement, client billing, contractor billing, RA bills, and final bills.
- Perform rate analysis, estimation, costing, and budget preparation for interior and civil works.
- Freeze and verify quantities based on drawings, site measurements, and actual execution.
- Handle tendering, including tender documentation, BOQ analysis, quotation preparation, and technical/commercial submissions.
- Obtain and compare vendor/subcontractor quotations and prepare comparative statements.
- Monitor project costs, material reconciliation, variations, extra items, and cost control.
- Coordinate with site, design, project, and purchase teams; maintain billing and tender records using MS Excel and AutoCAD.
