Billing Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Engineer with experience in civil construction and horticulture projects. The candidate should have strong knowledge of quantity surveying, billing, rate analysis, BOQ preparation, and measurement verification. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit client RA bills, subcontractor bills, and running account bills.
• Prepare detailed BOQ, quantity take-offs, and measurement sheets for civil and horticulture works.
• Verify quantities at site against approved drawings, BOQs, specifications, and actual executed work.
• Prepare and check rate analysis for extra items, deviation items, and non-BOQ items.
• Handle billing for civil works, including RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, painting, paving, drainage, and other construction activities.
• Handle billing for horticulture works, including grass development, plantation, tree planting, shrubs, landscaping, irrigation systems, and garden maintenance.
• Read and interpret civil, architectural, and landscaping drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare quantity calculations, reconciliation statements, and cost comparison sheets using MS Excel.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, consultants, clients, and subcontractors for measurements and bill certification.
• Maintain records of work orders, purchase orders, material consumption, extra items, and variations.
• Prepare monthly billing statements, work progress reports, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure bills are submitted accurately and within project deadlines.

Technical Skills Required

• AutoCAD: Ability to read, interpret, and measure quantities from 2D drawings.
• MS Excel: Strong command of formulas, lookup functions, PivotTables, conditional formatting, and quantity/billing sheets.
• Billing: Knowledge of RA bills, BOQ, MB (Measurement Book), subcontractor billing, and final bills.
• Rate Analysis: Ability to prepare rate analysis for extra and non-BOQ items.
• Quantity Surveying: Strong understanding of measurements, quantity take-offs, and reconciliation.
• Documentation: Good drafting, reporting, and record-maintenance skills.

Eligibility Criteria

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in civil construction and/or horticulture projects.
• Practical knowledge of client billing, subcontractor billing, and quantity estimation.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet billing deadlines.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
