Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Executive with experience in the logistics industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in logistics billing, basic accounting, GST compliance, and working with logistics software. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate customer invoices, maintaining billing records, coordinating with operations, and ensuring timely invoicing and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and generate customer invoices based on freight, transportation, warehousing, and other logistics services.
• Verify shipment documents such as LR, POD, e-Way Bills, delivery challans, and supporting documents before billing.
• Ensure billing is carried out as per customer contracts, agreed tariffs, and company policies.
• Process debit notes, credit notes, and billing adjustments.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain billing records, customer ledgers, and invoice trackers.
• Coordinate with Operations, Sales, and Accounts teams for timely and accurate billing.
• Support payment follow-ups by providing billing-related information.
• Assist in month-end closing, account reconciliation, and MIS reporting.
• Ensure compliance with GST regulations and company accounting procedures.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and statutory requirements.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR), billing processes, and basic accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, and reconciliation.
• Hands-on experience with Logi-Sys (Logistics ERP Software) is mandatory.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas).
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or similar is an added advantage.
• Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in logistics billing and accounts.
• Experience in freight forwarding, transportation, shipping, logistics, or supply chain companies is preferred.
• Practical experience using Logi-Sys for billing and documentation is essential.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in freight forwarding, customs clearance, or transportation billing.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage high billing volumes.
• Good understanding of customer contracts, freight charges, and logistics documentation.
• Team player with a proactive approach and strong attention to detail.
