Billing Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare and process patient bills accurately.
• Handle IPD and OPD billing activities.
• Coordinate with patients, attendants, insurance, and hospital departments.
• Verify billing details, packages, discounts, and payments.
• Handle cash, card, UPI, and other payment transactions as applicable.
• Coordinate with the Insurance/TPA team for billing-related requirements.
• Maintain billing records and supporting documents.
• Resolve patient billing queries and escalate issues when required.
• Ensure proper closure of bills and submission of required documents.
• Follow hospital billing policies and procedures.

Preferred candidate profile

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of hospital billing processes.
• Good computer and MS Excel skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good coordination and patient-handling skills.
• Ability to work in shifts.
