Billing Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Directs and delegates the departmental activities and ensures its smooth functioning. Ensure that the patients are satisfied by preparing detailed bill.
• Ensures that the final bill is complete with all the required documents on time
• Approves the necessary documents
• Coordinates with all the departments regarding billing.
• Analyse and interpret statement to management or administration
• Produces necessary documents to audit department and accounts department
• Coordinate with IP Department for disposal of case sheets for billing. Ensure proper billing is done.
• Ensure day to day bed side procedures posting of cash and credit patients.
• Ensure regular updating of billing in the system accurately.
• Prepares/approves the duties of the staff in the department
• Determines the training requirement of the departmental staff
• Prepares statistical statement
• Maintains discipline and punctuality
• Performs other related duties
