Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented CHA Billing Executive with practical experience in customs clearance billing, invoice preparation, vendor bill verification, and coordination with the operations and accounts teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare customer invoices for CHA and customs clearance services.
• Handle billing for import and export shipments.
• Verify supporting documents, job files, expense details, and service charges before invoice preparation.
• Check vendor bills, transporter bills, and other shipment-related expenses.
• Ensure accurate billing as per agreed rates and quotations.
• Coordinate with operations and accounts teams for billing information and approvals.
• Maintain billing records, customer ledgers, and invoice trackers.
• Follow up on pending billing details and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with outstanding payment follow-ups and billing reconciliation.
• Ensure invoices are prepared and submitted within the required timelines.
• Maintain proper documentation for audit and record-keeping purposes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Graduate in Commerce or a related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in CHA, customs clearance, freight forwarding, or logistics billing.
• Practical knowledge of import/export shipment billing.
• Familiarity with GST invoices and basic GST concepts.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and billing software; Tally knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and record management.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Candidate Requirements

• Candidates with hands-on experience in CHA billing are preferred.
• Must understand shipment-wise billing and supporting documentation.
• Experience in a logistics or customs clearance company is an advantage.
• Candidates with only general accounting experience and no relevant billing exposure may not be suitable.

Working Details

• Working Days: Monday to Saturday
• Working Hours: 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Work Mode: Work from office
