Billing Executive (Custom Clearance)

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue billing invoices for Import and Export shipments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Check Port Bills received from Finance and prepare documents for payment processing.
• Follow up on DND invoices with CLA and ensure timely payment processing to avoid outstanding balances or account blockage.
• Post and update job information accurately in the Sysfreight system to support billing and financial processing.
• Monitor and close completed jobs in Sysfreight once all operational and billing activities are completed.
• Prepare and issue Payment Vouchers for shipping-related charges.
• Attend to QFinance requests and enquiries related to billing and finance matters.
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance and other internal teams to resolve billing and payment-related issues.
• Maintain proper records and documentation for billing and payment transactions.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in billing, finance, accounts, or logistics/freight forwarding.
• Experience in Import & Export billing or freight forwarding operations will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of invoices, payment vouchers, Port Bills and basic finance processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
