Billing Manager

About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Billing Manager to oversee and manage the company's billing operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong accounting background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with different departments and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the daily billing operations and ensure that invoices are prepared accurately and released on time
• Monitor billing transactions, payments, and account records to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Coordinate with the Accounting, Finance, Operations, and other departments regarding billing-related concerns
• Review and resolve billing discrepancies, issues, and customer concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Prepare billing reports, summaries, and other necessary documentation for management
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of billing records
• Monitor outstanding accounts and assist in following up on pending payments when necessary
• Improve and implement billing processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy
• Lead, guide, and monitor the performance of the billing team

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or any related course
• Proven experience in billing, accounting, finance, or a related field; supervisory or managerial experience is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and billing processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, and report preparation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to lead a team and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
