Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Billing Manager to lead our billing team and ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement of billing operations. This role oversees a team of four direct reports and is responsible for sales reporting, pricing integrity, discount and rebate administration, and billing for managed care accounts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate end-to-end billing operations, identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and consistency.
• Lead, train, and support a team of four direct reports, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous development.
• Oversee sales reporting to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of data to leadership.
• Manage discount and rebate reporting, ensuring accurate documentation and timely submission.
• Maintain and update pricing tables to ensure consistent and accurate pricing across billing systems.
• Direct billing activities for managed care accounts, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and timely resolution of billing issues.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex billing inquiries, discrepancies, and exceptions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing challenges, strengthen internal controls, and drive ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of four years of billing experience, including prior supervisory or management responsibilities.
• Experience with managed care billing preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyze and interpret billing data.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to develop, support, and motivate staff.
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
