Billing Specialist

About the role

Asticom Technology Inc is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our growing team. This is a contract position based in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. As a Billing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing our billing operations, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, and maintaining strong relationships with our clients. This position is essential to our finance department and directly impacts our business operations and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Process and review billing documentation, invoices, and payment records to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Generate and send invoices to clients in a timely manner in accordance with contractual agreements
• Reconcile billing discrepancies and investigate billing-related inquiries from clients and internal departments
• Maintain and update billing records and databases with current information and payment statuses
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments with clients
• Prepare billing reports and statements for management review and analysis
• Coordinate with the sales and operations teams to ensure accurate billing for services rendered
• Process refunds and credit adjustments as required
• Support month-end and year-end billing reconciliation activities
• Ensure compliance with company billing policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a Billing Specialist, Billing Clerk, or in a similar administrative finance role
• Strong proficiency with billing software, accounting systems, and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies quickly
• Solid understanding of billing processes, invoicing procedures, and accounts receivable management
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with clients and colleagues
• High level of accuracy in data entry and numerical work
• Professional demeanour and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to resolving billing issues
• Relevant certification in accounting or finance (e.g., bookkeeping certification) is advantageous but not required
