Billing Supervisor

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Associate degree with relevant work experience may be accepted by some employers.

Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or finance.
• 1–3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience with billing systems, invoicing, collections, and payment processing.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience using ERP or accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Strong understanding of billing procedures, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of applicable accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

Leadership Skills

• Ability to supervise, train, and motivate a billing team.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Experience developing and improving billing processes.

Communication Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills.
