Duties

• Greet guests warmly in both English and Spanish, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing transactions efficiently and correctly
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, including wine and spirits knowledge, to assist guests in making informed choices
• Upsell menu items and suggest pairings to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of beverage service, cocktail presentation, and food handling safety
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments and issuing receipts
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations; assist with food preparation when needed
• Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction

Qualifications

• Fluent in both Spanish and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages
• Previous food service experience in fine dining or casual restaurant settings is highly preferred
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper beverage handling procedures
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience with wine knowledge, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Excellent math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service and guest relations in diverse settings such as nightclubs or hospitality venues
