About the role

PT Leader Kontraktor Indonesia is seeking a skilled BIM (Building Information Modelling) professional to join our engineering team on a full-time basis. This position is based in Karawang, West Java, and offers an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in advancing our construction and engineering projects through cutting-edge digital modelling technology. As a BIM specialist, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and coordinating detailed digital models that form the foundation of modern construction projects, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and seamless collaboration across all project phases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive BIM models for architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical systems across multiple projects
• Create detailed 2D drawings and specifications from 3D BIM models for construction documentation and tender packages
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure BIM models accurately reflect design intent and constructability requirements
• Identify and resolve clashes and conflicts within BIM models before construction begins, minimising costly delays and rework
• Establish and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and best practices across projects to ensure consistency and quality
• Collaborate with project teams to extract data from BIM models for cost estimation, scheduling, and resource planning
• Prepare BIM documentation, including model requirements, level of detail specifications, and data standards
• Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM software and methodologies
• Ensure compliance with company standards and industry BIM protocols throughout all project deliverables

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in leading BIM software platforms such as Autodesk Revit, ArchiCAD, or similar applications
• Strong knowledge of building design, construction processes, and engineering principles relevant to the construction industry
• Experience in coordination and clash detection across multiple building systems and disciplines
• Demonstrated ability to create detailed and accurate technical drawings and documentation
• Understanding of BIM standards, IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) formats, and data management protocols
• Strong attention to detail with excellent spatial reasoning and visualisation capabilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently
• Knowledge of CAD software and 2D drafting principles is advantageous
• Experience in infrastructure or building projects in the Indonesian construction market is preferred
