BIM Coordinator

About the role

This role involves creating, maintaining and updating precise and accurate BIM models from inception to project completion, constructing 3D models and preparing drawings for submission and construction using BIM software.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain and update precise and accurate BIM models from inception to project completion
• Construct 3D models and prepare drawings for submission and construction using BIM software
• Update 3D models and ensure accuracy of latest drawings
• Coordinate with all stakeholders, including Consultants and Subcontractors, to resolve technical issues
• Chair regular BIM meetings with Subcontractors' BIM representatives to resolve clashes
• Oversee the collaboration of BIM and data exchange processes with stakeholders
• Production of detailed plans, elevations and section drawings from BIM model
• Ensure timely delivery of drawings production for site progress
• Develop, implement and maintain BEP
• Ensure BIM standards and Level of Development are implemented and adhered to

About you

• Possess a Degree in Architecture, Construction, BIM-related or an equivalent qualification
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a BIM role with Main-Contractor
• Proficient with Autodesk Revit for Architecture and Structure, Navisworks, Clash detection
• Detail oriented and self-driven
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work independently
• Familiar with local construction regulations
