BIM Coordinator

About us:

CTS Group is seeking qualified BIM Coordinators across multiple experience levels (Junior, Intermediate, and Senior) to lead and support multidisciplinary design coordination across data center and critical infrastructure projects in Porto, Portugal. Candidates will work in a dynamic, high-performance environment driving technical precision, quality, and digital innovation.

Experience:

3–5 years in a BIM Coordinator/Specialist role - Junior BIM Coordinator

6–10 years of experience in a BIM Coordinator/Specialist role- Intermediate BIM Coordinator

10+ years of evidenced experience in a BIM Coordinator/Specialist role- Senior BIM Coordinator

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's / Master's degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical) or Architecture.
• Experience: 3 –15 years of evidenced experience in a BIM Coordinator or BIM Specialist role.
• Domain Focus: Proven experience in Buildings, Critical Infrastructure Facilities (e.g., Data Centers), and Manufacturing Production sectors.
• BIM Standards: Solid acquaintance with BIM standards and information management standards.
• Design Coordination: Ability to interpret, analyse, and coordinate moderately complex multidisciplinary design projects with limited oversight.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled knowledge of BIM methodology, strong acquaintance with BIM authoring software, and technical knowledge of BIM-oriented software.
• Advanced Tools: Knowledge in applying BIM-based Quantity Take-Off (QTO) and Planning 4D (preferred).
• Standards Development: Ability to support the development of BIM Project Standards and complementary BIM requirements guidelines.
• Soft Skills: Intermediate knowledge of English (oral and written); ability to develop reports and technical presentations; proactive in finding solutions with strong interpersonal and quality-focused skills.
