Role Description The BIM Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, responsible for managing Building Information Models across multidisciplinary engineering projects. This role oversees the creation, coordination, and maintenance of BIM models, ensuring design integrity, data consistency, and compliance with project standards. The BIM Coordinator collaborates closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to resolve model clashes, integrate design changes, and support project workflows. Daily tasks include setting up BIM standards and templates, performing quality checks on models, preparing coordinated drawings and reports, and supporting teams with BIM-related tools and processes. The role also involves training project team members on BIM best practices, assisting in digital collaboration, and contributing to continuous improvement of ECEC’s BIM methodologies.

Qualifications

• Strong BIM and CAD skills, including proficiency in tools such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and related coordination software.
• Experience in BIM coordination for multidisciplinary engineering projects, including clash detection, model review, and design integration.
• Solid understanding of engineering and construction processes, project workflows, and documentation standards within consultancy environments.
• Ability to develop and apply BIM standards, templates, and execution plans, ensuring consistency across teams and projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in model management and documentation.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with diverse technical teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related discipline; relevant BIM certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience in Saudi Arabia or the regional construction market is beneficial, especially on large-scale or complex projects.
