BIM COORDINATOR

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the implementation, administration, and daily operation of the Common Data Environment (CDE) for projects as the primary responsibility of the role
• Set up and maintain CDE workflows, user access, folder structures, naming conventions, metadata, submission registers, review processes, and document/model approval workflows
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, clients, IT team, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective use of the CDE
• Monitor information submission status, workflow progress, version control, approvals, and compliance with project information requirements
• Support CDE enhancement and development, including user requirement collection, workflow improvement, system testing, dashboard/reporting setup, and feedback consolidation
• Prepare presentation materials, demonstrations, user guides, training materials, and promotional materials for CDE promotion, user adoption, and management review
• Provide CDE training, user support, troubleshooting, and guidance to project teams and stakeholders
• Support the implementation of information management standards, BIM Execution Plan requirements, and CDE-related procedures
• Assist in stakeholder meetings and present CDE workflow status, adoption progress, and improvement initiatives where required
• Support secondary BIM coordination duties only when required, including model coordination, clash review, coordination meetings, and follow-up on BIM-related issues
• Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by management of Build King Group

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Services, Construction Management, Information Management, Computer Science, Digital Construction, or related discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in CDE implementation, information management, digital construction, document control, or BIM coordination in construction projects
• Hands-on experience with CDE platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360, ProjectWise, Asite, Aconex, Viewpoint, or equivalent systems is preferred
• Good understanding of ISO-19650 and CDE workflows, document control, submission/review processes, version control, access rights, naming conventions, metadata, and approval procedures
• Experience in CDE enhancement, workflow development, system testing, dashboard/reporting tools, user requirement collection, or digital platform improvement will be an advantage
• Knowledge of Power BI and other data visualization / dashboard tools is preferred
• Basic knowledge of BIM standards, BIM Execution Plan, model coordination, and software such as Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or MicroStation is preferred, as BIM coordination is a secondary duty of this role
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 or other information management standards will be an advantage
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin
• Strong communication, coordination, presentation, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Detail-minded, organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple workflows, submissions, users, and stakeholders
• Ability to prepare clear presentation materials, user guides, training documents, promotion materials, and management reports
