BIM Coordinator/BIM Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to manage multi-disciplinary BIM model coordination, clash detection, design validation and construction BIM delivery. This role bridges design teams, contractors and stakeholders, ensuring all architectural, structural and MEP models are consistent, collision-free and fully aligned with construction drawings and project standards. The incumbent will drive BIM standard implementation, resolve technical coordination issues, and support full-lifecycle project digital delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate and coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, fire service and drainage BIM models; conduct regular clash detection, identify design conflicts and resolve inter-disciplinary inconsistencies
• Generate detailed clash reports, propose practical optimization solutions, follow up with designers and subcontractors for model revision, eliminate on-site rework risks
• Implement project BIM execution plan (BEP), unify modeling standards, naming conventions and model delivery specifications; conduct model QA/QC to ensure compliance with project and industry standards
• Support shop drawing generation, 3D visualization, construction simulation and on-site technical guidance; ensure model-data-drawing consistency for construction implementation
• Host regular BIM coordination meetings, synchronize progress and technical issues, record meeting minutes and track action items closure
• Manage model version control, BIM document archiving and project digital asset delivery, support project handover and asset information management

About you

• 3+ years solid BIM coordination experience in building, infrastructure or construction projects, familiar with full project lifecycle BIM workflow
• Proficient in core BIM tools: Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360; skilled in clash test, model integration and drawing output
• Strong understanding of architectural, structural and MEP construction knowledge, capable of judging constructability and providing professional optimization suggestions
• Familiar with international BIM standards (ISO 19650) and project BEP management process
• Possess relevant BIM certifications (CCBM / CCBC / HKIBIM) is a strong plus
• Detail-oriented, good problem-solving ability and cross-team communication skills, able to work under project deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related disciplines
