BIM Design Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical)

We're Hiring: BIM Design Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical)

We are seeking experienced BIM Design Engineers to support major data centre construction projects in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed mechanical and/or electrical installation drawings.
• Develop ductwork fabrication, assembly, support and isometric drawings.
• Work with Revit, Navisworks and BIM 360.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM), Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs.
• Assist with technical submittals and multidisciplinary project coordination.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings.
• Identify and resolve design clashes.

Candidate Requirements:

• Relevant engineering or technical qualification.
• Proven BIM design experience in mechanical HVAC systems, electrical installations or building services.
• Practical experience using Revit, Navisworks and/or BIM 360.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and installation specifications.
• Experience in HVAC ductwork, fire-rated ductwork, electrical containment or busbar systems is highly advantageous.
• Data centre, MEP contracting or industrial construction experience is preferred.
• Previous international project experience is an advantage.
• AutoCAD experience is beneficial but not essential.
