Role Description The BIM Detailer role at Pan-Pacific Mechanical is a full-time, on-site position based in Fremont, CA. The BIM Detailer will create and update detailed 3D mechanical and plumbing models, ensuring accuracy and constructability in coordination with project specifications and standards. Responsibilities include producing shop drawings, incorporating field feedback, and collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to resolve design conflicts and support installation. The role also involves maintaining model organization, adhering to company BIM protocols, and preparing documentation for coordination meetings and project submittals. The BIM Detailer will support project schedules by prioritizing tasks, responding to design changes, and helping maintain quality and consistency across all deliverables.

Required Qualifications

• 2–5 years of BIM detailing experience in mechanical, plumbing, or MEP construction.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks Manage.
• Review material matrices against database.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and coordination documents.
• Understanding of mechanical and plumbing systems, fittings, valves, equipment, and installation methods.
• Experience producing coordinated 3D models and construction drawings.
• Understanding of construction sequencing, trade coordination, and field installation requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and organizational skills.
• Self QC Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet project deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
