Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical VDC Detailer to join our Virtual Design & Construction team. This role is responsible for producing accurate 3D models and coordinated electrical drawings to support field installation and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed electrical 3D models using Revit and AutoCAD based on design documents and project specs
• Coordinate electrical systems with other trades using clash detection tools (e.g., Navisworks)
• Create installation drawings, layout plans, and prefabrication drawings for field teams
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field supervisors to ensure constructability
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve design conflicts
• Maintain project files and ensure drawing accuracy throughout the lifecycle
• Support VDC standards, workflows, and best practices

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of electrical drafting/modeling experience in construction (VDC/BIM)
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360
• Understanding of NEC, electrical construction methods, and field coordination
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience with Bluebeam, Trimble, or prefabrication modeling is a plus

Education & Experience:

• Working experience with Revit software
• Associates degree in Computer drafting or construction management
• Field experience in construction trade. Electrical construction experience a plus.
