BIM Engineer

CES Clean Energy Solutions Bulgaria is an engineering consultancy based in Plovdiv, specialising in integrated building design and building systems in a BIM environment. We focus on innovative and energy-efficient solutions, delivered across projects in Bulgaria and internationally. Our services cover the full design cycle — from concept and schematic design, through technical and detailed design, to a wide range of additional engineering and consultancy activities.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced BIM Engineer to join our team and contribute to ambitious projects in Bulgaria and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• BIM project setup and maintenance in line with company standards
• 3D modelling and coordination of buildings and building systems (architectural, structural, MEP)
• Coordination of BIM activities within multidisciplinary design teams
• Maintenance of BIM Execution Plans and technical documentation
• Clash detection and reporting using Navisworks or similar tools
• Technical support and best-practice guidance for project teams
• Contribution to the development of digital workflows and process automation

Requirements

Essential

• Technical degree in Architecture, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience with Revit and/or other BIM software
• Knowledge of IFC standards and BIM coordination workflows
• Good written and spoken English
• Ability to work independently within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Advantageous

• Experience with Navisworks, Civil 3D, or Autodesk Construction Cloud
• Knowledge of German
• Experience on international projects
• Interest in visual scripting or BIM automation (Dynamo, Python, etc.)
• Experience with MEP design in Revit
• Experience with Building Energy modeling or LCA
