BIM Engineer

We are seeking an experienced BIM Engineer to join our building construction team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM), multidisciplinary coordination, and construction documentation, preferably within luxury hotel, 5-star hospitality, high-rise, or other large-scale building projects.

The candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing BIM models to support project design, construction, and delivery in accordance with project requirements and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update 3D BIM models in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and BIM execution requirements.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP models to identify and resolve design clashes and coordination issues.
• Perform clash detection, prepare coordination reports, and follow up on the resolution of identified issues.
• Review shop drawings, construction drawings, and BIM models to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Coordinate with design consultants, site engineers, technical office teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Support the preparation of coordinated construction drawings, sections, details, and model extracts.
• Ensure BIM models are updated to reflect design changes, site conditions, and approved revisions.
• Maintain BIM documentation, model data, and revision records in accordance with project standards.
• Support the implementation of BIM standards, workflows, and quality control procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist project teams in resolving technical and coordination issues to minimize rework and improve construction efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architectural Engineering
• Minimum 6–7 years of experience in BIM and building construction projects.
• Strong experience working with main contractors on large-scale building construction projects.
• Experience in luxury hotels, 5-star hospitality projects, high-rise buildings, or landmark developments is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other relevant BIM tools.
• Good knowledge of multidisciplinary BIM coordination, clash detection, and construction documentation.
• Understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and construction methodologies.
• Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), BIM standards, and ISO 19650 principles is an advantage.
• Strong coordination, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and meet project deadlines.
