BIM Engineer - MEP

Role Description The BIM Engineer – MEP is a full-time, on-site role based in Ernakulam. This role is responsible for developing and managing detailed BIM models for MEP systems, ensuring accurate representation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing elements across project phases. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with architectural and structural teams, preparing and updating construction drawings, generating shop drawings and quantity take-offs, and resolving design clashes through BIM coordination. The BIM Engineer – MEP also supports project documentation, adheres to client and industry standards, and collaborates with project stakeholders to maintain model quality, data integrity, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows.
• Experience developing and reviewing Construction Drawings for building projects.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems design and coordination.
• Understanding of Architecture principles and collaboration with architectural design teams.
• Background in Civil Engineering or related disciplines, with familiarity in structural and site coordination.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, standards, and client requirements.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil), Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience with BIM authoring and coordination software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or similar) is highly beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
