BIM Manager

Our agency is looking for a BIM Manager on behalf of a global American PMC for a hyperscale data center project in Chonburi, Thailand .

Our client is engaged as the Project Management Consultant (PMC) for the project, supporting the delivery of a major hyperscale data center.

The Role

The BIM Manager will lead BIM and digital information management activities across the project, ensuring that design and construction information is coordinated, controlled and delivered in accordance with project requirements. The role will work closely with the client, designers, contractors and wider PMC team throughout design, construction and handover.

Key responsibilities include:

• Establish and manage BIM execution requirements, workflows, standards and information management processes across the project
• Lead coordination of multidisciplinary BIM models across architectural, structural, MEP, civil and specialist systems
• Review federated models and coordinate model exchanges to identify design conflicts, spatial constraints and construction interfaces
• Manage clash detection, issue tracking and coordination workflows, ensuring identified issues are assigned, resolved and closed out
• Review BIM models, drawings and associated project information for consistency, completeness and compliance with project requirements
• Coordinate BIM activities between design consultants, main contractors, specialist subcontractors and suppliers
• Support construction teams through model-based coordination, sequencing, constructability reviews and resolution of site issues
• Establish and maintain BIM deliverables, model review processes, naming conventions, data requirements and document control interfaces
• Monitor contractor and consultant BIM performance and ensure deliverables align with the agreed BIM Execution Plan and project information requirements
• Support integration of BIM information with project controls, design management, construction planning and commissioning activities
• Oversee the development and verification of as-built models and asset information required for project handover
• Provide BIM and digital coordination reports, highlighting key issues, trends and risks to project leadership and the client

Requirements

• Strong BIM management or coordination experience within major construction, engineering or infrastructure projects
• Strong English proficiency is essential , both written and spoken
• Strong understanding of BIM workflows, multidisciplinary coordination and information management
• Proficiency with relevant BIM platforms and coordination tools, such as Revit, Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud or equivalent
• Experience working with consultants, contractors and specialist subcontractors in a complex project environment
• Data center experience is an advantage, but not essential
• Comfortable working in a fully site-based environment in Chonburi
• Willing to work 5.5 days per week , with Saturday half-days typically on a rotational basis

• Contract: 1-year renewable contract
• Potential opportunity to convert to a permanent position after the first year, subject to project and business requirements
