BIM Manager (M&E)

Project: IWMF EPC1 | Singapore

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all M&E BIM activities throughout the design, construction, and project handover stages.
• Develop and implement the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), ensuring compliance with project requirements and Singapore BIM standards.
• Oversee M&E BIM modelling and coordination, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, and related systems.
• Lead multidisciplinary BIM coordination and clash detection involving M&E, Civil, Structural, and Architectural disciplines.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to resolve BIM-related design and construction issues.
• Supervise BIM Coordinators and Modellers, ensuring model quality, timely submissions, and effective resource allocation.
• Review coordinated M&E shop drawings and ensure BIM models align with approved designs and actual site conditions.
• Manage BIM deliverables, model updates, and as-built BIM documentation for project handover.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 8 years of BIM experience , including at least 3 years in a BIM management or senior coordination role .
• Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems and practical experience in BIM coordination for large-scale construction projects.
• Proficient in Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, and AutoCAD .
• Proven experience in multidisciplinary clash detection, BIM coordination, and construction-related BIM implementation.
• Good understanding of Singapore BIM standards, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and relevant construction practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with experience managing BIM teams and subcontractors.

Preferred:

• Experience in large-scale industrial facilities, waste management plants, power plants, water treatment plants, or EPC projects.
• Prior experience working with main contractors in Singapore.
