Job Description

We are looking for a skilled BIM Modeler to join our VDC (Virtual Design & Construction) team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining accurate BIM models for building and infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit, Bentley MicroStation, or similar BIM software, along with a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and BIM coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate 3D BIM models for building and infrastructure projects using Revit, Bentley MicroStation, or similar software.
• Create BIM models based on design drawings, project specifications, and engineering data.
• Add relevant information such as dimensions, materials, structural details, and MEP components to BIM models.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve clashes and coordination issues before construction begins.
• Generate 2D drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and construction details from BIM models.
• Prepare BIM visualizations and renderings to communicate design intent and construction sequencing.
• Extract quantities of materials and components from BIM models to support estimation, procurement, and scheduling.
• Update and maintain BIM models throughout the project lifecycle, including design changes and as-built conditions.
• Review BIM models and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Participate in coordination meetings and communicate BIM-related issues effectively with project teams.
• Assist and guide team members in BIM software usage and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Bentley MicroStation, or similar BIM software.
• Good understanding of civil engineering and construction principles.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in BIM coordination and clash detection.
• Knowledge of structural, architectural, or MEP modeling.
• Understanding of construction drawings and documentation.
• Experience working on building or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of BIM standards and workflows.
