Job Description for BIM Modeler – Interiors (Mumbai)

Position Overview

• We are seeking a detail-oriented BIM Modeler (3–5 Years Experience) to join our interior design firm in Mumbai.
• You will be responsible for creating, coordinating, and managing detailed 3D digital models for high-end commercial, hospitality, and residential interior fit-out projects.
• Working alongside interior designers, MEP engineers, and site execution teams
• you will translate conceptual design intent into precise, production-ready parametric models and construction documentation.

Fixed Pay: Rs. 30,000 to 40,000/- P.M

Key Responsibilities

Model Development & Maintenance

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models (LOD 300 to LOD 400) in Autodesk Revit for interior architectural elements, custom joinery, loose/fixed furniture, and ceiling layouts.
• Ensure models strictly adhere to project standards, layer naming conventions, and BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
• Extract accurate GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, schedules, material quantities, and interior shop drawings directly from Revit models. Coordination & Clash Detection
• Perform multi-disciplinary clash detection using Navisworks to resolve spatial conflicts between interior components and MEP services (HVAC ducts, fire sprinklers, lighting, plumbing).
• Participate in design coordination meetings with project managers, consultants, and contractors to address model discrepancies before site execution.

Standards & Quality Control

• Maintain parametric family libraries tailored for interior finishes, millwork, fixtures, and furniture elements.
• Incorporate design revisions and redline updates efficiently throughout all project phases.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 2–3 years of hands-on BIM modeling experience, specifically within an interior design, architectural consultancy, or interior fit-out firm.
• Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Autodesk Revit (Architecture & Interiors) and Navisworks Manage/Simulate. Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Dynamo, or Enscape is a strong plus.
• Core Knowledge: Strong understanding of interior construction details, joinery, false ceiling systems, material finishes, and MEP service integration.
• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications (Preferred): Autodesk Certified Professional (Revit) or accredited BIM certifications.

There will be 2 Rounds of Interviews:

• 1st Round: Associate Director (Online on Google Meet)
• 2nd Round: Design Head & Director (Face to Face Round) Office Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 9:30 – 6:00 PM All Saturdays : 9:30 – 3:00 PM

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
