Job Summary

DRAWLINES ENGINEERING CONSULT is seeking an experienced MEP BIM Modeler to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks, with practical site experience in MEP works.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and coordinating MEP BIM models, preparing construction documentation, supporting site teams, and resolving coordination and installation issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain MEP BIM models using Revit MEP.
• Model and coordinate HVAC, plumbing, and other MEP services based on project requirements.
• Coordinate MEP services with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines.
• Perform clash detection and BIM coordination using Navisworks.
• Prepare detailed shop drawings, layouts, sections, details, and as-built models.
• Review MEP drawings, specifications, and engineering requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and project teams to resolve installation and coordination issues.
• Conduct site visits and site inspections to verify actual conditions and update BIM models accordingly.
• Support site teams with BIM-related technical information and drawing requirements.
• Incorporate design changes, site modifications, and engineering comments into BIM models.
• Ensure BIM models and drawings comply with project standards, specifications, and LOD requirements.
• Maintain proper model coordination, revisions, and project documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as an MEP BIM Modeler.
• Strong proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Good understanding of MEP systems and construction practices.
• Mandatory hands-on site experience in MEP works.
• Experience coordinating with site teams and resolving MEP installation issues.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Good knowledge of BIM coordination and clash detection.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE/GCC project experience is preferred.

Important Requirement

Candidates must have practical site experience in MEP construction/installation works. Candidates without relevant site experience will not be considered.
