About the role

Develop and maintain accurate 3D architectural BIM models based on architectural drawings, specifications and project requirements. Prepare architectural BIM models using Autodesk Revit and other relevant BIM software, and produce and update plans, elevations, sections, details and schedules from BIM models.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D architectural BIM models based on architectural drawings, specifications and project requirements
• Prepare architectural BIM models using Autodesk Revit and other relevant BIM software
• Produce and update plans, elevations, sections, details and schedules from BIM models
• Interpret architectural drawings and convert 2D information into accurate 3D models
• Ensure BIM models comply with project standards, modelling guidelines and required Levels of Development/Detail
• Coordinate architectural models with Structural, MEP and other disciplines
• Identify modelling clashes, discrepancies and design conflicts and report them to the BIM Coordinator/Manager
• Make revisions to BIM models based on client, consultant and project team comments
• Assist in preparing BIM deliverables, shop drawings, coordination drawings and documentation where required
• Maintain proper model version control and follow project BIM standards

About you

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit – Architecture
• Good understanding of architectural drawings and construction documentation
• Knowledge of architectural modelling, families, views, sheets and schedules
• Basic understanding of BIM coordination and clash detection
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage
• Knowledge of Navisworks is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under project deadlines
