What they need
- Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for plumbing systems, ensuring clash detection with other disciplines.
- Coordinate plumbing system layouts with architectural, structural, and MEP designs to optimize space and constructability.
- Generate accurate construction documentation, including drawings, schedules, and material take-offs from BIM models.
- Perform hydraulic calculations and system analysis within the BIM environment to ensure optimal performance and code compliance.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent credential demonstrating technical expertise.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in BIM plumbing design and coordination.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit MEP, Navisworks, and AutoCAD MEP.
